Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Make this tasty appetizer for your next get together! Crunchy water chestnuts wrapped in smoky bacon and basted with a sweet and savory sauce.  So easy to make and perfect for the holiday season!

What You'll Need

✓ Regular cut bacon ✓ Water chestnuts ✓ Ketchup ✓ Worcestershire sauce ✓ Brown sugar


Make the Sauce

Mix ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Set aside for basting.


Wrap and Secure

Wrap each chestnut in bacon, secure with a toothpick, and place on a  rack on baking sheet lined with parchment.


FIRST Bake and Baste

Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and baste with sauce, flip, baste again, and return to the oven.


Final Baste and Crisp

Bake for another 15-20 minutes or until they are crispy and caramelized to perfection.


Serve and Enjoy

Transfer to a platter, serve immediately, and watch them disappear!
