Cranberry Cinnamon Cornbread

This cranberry cinnamon cornbread is a perfect fall side, loaded with craisins and cinnamon. It pairs wonderfully with hearty soups, like homemade chili.

MIX DRY INGREDIENTS

In a medium-sized bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

FINISH BATTER

Add sugar and mix well. Then stir in melted butter, eggs, and buttermilk until the batter forms.

Fold in craisins

Add the craisins and fold them into the cornbread batter.

pour & bake

Pour into a greased 8x8 baking dish. Bake for 22 minutes at 375°F.
