READING SHRIMP SIZES

Shrimp are labeled by the number of pieces in a pound. For example 16/20 on a label means there are 16 to 20 shrimp in one pound.

GENERAL RULE

Shrimp sizes can sometimes vary slightly by region and supplier, but as a general rule: the smaller the number, the bigger the shrimp!
