Ingredients
- Uncooked bratwursts
- Brat buns, sausage rolls, or hot dog buns
- Toppings, if preferred
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F.
- Prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up. We love to use the pre-cut parchment sheets.
- Place the uncooked brats on the prepared baking sheet, leaving room between them to ensure even cooking (at least 1/2 to 1 inch of space).
- Place on your oven rack and roast for 10 minutes on the first side.
- Then flip each bratwurst and cook for an additional 8 to 10 minutes. Or until the brats reach an internal temperature of 160°F for pork or beef sausages. (165°F for turkey or chicken variations)
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes, using foil to loosely cover and keep warm.
- Serve the bratwurst on sausage rolls with your favorite brat toppings; find a huge list of brat toppings here.
Notes
- Any oven-safe dish, pan, or cast-iron skillet will work just fine.
