- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 16 ounces almonds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F for slow roasting.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Add the egg white and vanilla to a mixing bowl and whisk until frothy.
- Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the almonds to the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Stir until well-coated.
- Spread the coated almonds evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring them every 20 minutes.
- Allow the almonds to cool and store in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- Stir the almonds and cinnamon sugar mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Be sure to stir the almonds every 20 minutes during roasting to keep them from sticking together.
