Ingredients
Scale
- 6 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup butter
- Green food coloring
- 7 cups corn flakes
- 1 cup green candy melts
- Sprinkles
Instructions
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the marshmallows and butter in the microwave. Use 30-second increments and stir each time.
- Add drops of green food coloring and mix until it reaches the shade of green you desire.
- Fold in the corn flakes cereal.
- On top of wax paper, press the corn flake mixture into a shamrock or clover cookie cutter. Use a spoon to press the mixture in. (Greasing the spoon, wax paper, and cookie cutter can help the marshmallows from sticking and make it easier to release—use butter or baking spray.) Repeat until all of your mixture is gone.
- Melt green candy melts in a piping bag, cut the end, and drizzle each shamrock treat diagonally. Then, add sprinkles diagonally across one side of the shamrock. Or decorate however you’d like.
- Allow the treats to set. If you are short on time, put them in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container for later.
Notes
