Delicious no-bake shamrock corn flake treats drizzled with candy melts and topped with green and gold sprinkles. A recipe full of luck—ideal for St. Patrick’s Day.

Shamrock Corn Flake Treats

It is no secret that we love to make corn flake treats! And dare we say—they are even more delicious than the classic rice crispy marshmallow treats. These particular treats are shamrock-shaped, full of luck, and perfect for St. Paddy’s Day parties and celebrations.

All you need is 6 ingredients and a three-leaf clover cookie cutter. They are super easy to make and a crowd-pleaser for sure. If you are going to a larger gathering, you will want to (at least) double the recipe.

Ingredient Notes

Here are the six simple ingredients you’ll need for these no-bake treats.

Corn Flake Treat Ingredients

Candy melts: we use Wilton’s or Melt ‘Ems, which work great for drizzling. You can simply add them to a piping bag, melt in the microwave, cut an opening, and drizzle away!

Sprinkles: we found this shamrock sprinkle mix by Sweets Indeed on Amazon, although you can use any green and gold sprinkles.

4

Shape into shamrocks

More About This Recipe

Corn flake treats are an all-time favorite in our family. We make them for just about any holiday or occasion. (Be sure to check out our birds nest corn flake treats with robin egg candies, they’re so adorable.)

They can be a bit messy and sticky when forming (although they’re worth it!), but if you grease your supplies and wax paper with butter or baking spray, that will help a lot. If you are running short on time, you can press the mixture into a pan, add sprinkles, and cut into bars.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to commonly asked questions about making corn flake treats.

Can I use large marshmallows instead of mini marshmallows?

Yes, you can use regular-sized marshmallows, but make sure to adjust the quantity accordingly. About 40 regular-sized marshmallows equal 6 cups of mini marshmallows.

How long do these corn flake treats last after they’re made?

These treats can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for several days. They can also be stored in the freezer for 2 to 3 months when properly sealed.

Can I skip the step of drizzling with candy melts and adding sprinkles?

Absolutely! The candy melts and sprinkles are for decoration and can be omitted if desired. The treats will still taste delicious without them.
